Tia Cox

PRINCIPAL DIRECTOR

  • Tia established OrganicLegal in 2017. In 2022 she was recognised for her dedication and loyalty to the Queensland legal profession for achieving 25 years as a lawyer. Within those years she has primarily practiced in the area of personal injuries. She is a mentor to junior and young lawyers both within the firm and in the community where her reputation as a good sounding board with wise insights precedes her. The firm does not advertise, relying solely on word of mouth referrals from clients and colleagues who recommend family and loved ones, showing the trust and confidence held by them in Tia and her team at Organic Legal.

Helen Harding

SOLICITOR

  • Helen joined OrganicLegal in 2018 while completing her law degree part time. She graduated with her Bachelor of Laws in 2021. In June 2023, Helen was admitted to the Legal Profession as a solicitor. She is integral in the running of the firm both professionally and personally. Her skills in managing files are sharp. She is insightful and thinks with clarity, character traits which are critical when dealing with clients who have had life altering injuries. When she is not working, she lives like the French, savours her food, good company and family time.

Emily Gamze

SOLICITOR

  • Emily joined OrganicLegal in June 2022 as a Paralegal while completing her studies. Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University. Throughout university, Emily was a mentor to younger students and in her final year she was the President of the JCU Law Students’ Society. She then completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. In June 2023, Emily was admitted to the Legal Profession as a Solicitor.

    Emily is passionate about assisting clients who have been impacted by an injury. She also runs the OrganicLegal Instagram account creating eye catching informative posts. In her spare time, Emily enjoys socialising with friends and family, and watching and performing in musical theatre.

Samantha Mamb

PARALEGAL

  • Samantha (Sam) is in her final year of a dual degree program of Business - Economics and Law. She is on track to complete her Bachelors by mid-2023. She has been a Law student mentor and a JCU Law Student’s Society Representative during her course of study. She is a full-time student as well as being part of our team.

    Sam joined OrganicLegal in June 2022 and has since played a vital role in case management and client contact. In her position as a paralegal, she acts as first point of contact between client, Tia, and other interested parties. She ensures the progress of cases by doing the required ‘leg-work’.

    In her leisure time, if she is not catching up on some study, she enjoys swims at the Strand, footy and catching an evening sunset.

Tracey Teeling

LAW CLERK

  • Tracey is one of the first points of contact for our clients. She provides reassurance to clients and undertakes efficient, essential administration in her secretarial support to Tia. She also undertakes the day-to-day office management to keep our firm humming along.

Kathy Wheeler

LAW CLERK

  • Kathy is kind and calming and helps Helen and Tia with all superannuation claims. She also undertakes essential file management and has the tenacity and perseverance to find anything lost in the firm. Her record stands at 100% success rate for locating lost items.

Alison Johnson

ACCOUNTANT

  • Alison has practiced as a Public Practice Accountant specialising in taxation since 1991 and also owned her own accounting practice for 18 of those years. She is now semi-retired and enjoys a new life of golf and Organic Legal accounts.
